            The St. Regis Monarch Beach is located on 172 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Dana Point, California, between Los Angeles and San Diego.  The Resort is easily accessible via three international airports- John Wayne (Orange County) 21miles, Los Angeles 65 miles, and San Diego 75 miles.

Accommodations

            The St. Regis Monarch Beach offers 400 Tuscan inspired guest rooms and suits, which are over sized with warm earth tones and balconies to provide the room with ocean breezes.  Upscale residential elements prevail in all guestrooms that include plantation shutters, exquisite marble bathrooms, Roman bathtubs, separate showers, Lissedell Irish terry towels and Acqua di Parma bath products.  The guest rooms range from 535 square feet, the largest in Orange County, to 3100 square feet for the presidential sweet.  Guest room rates range from $485 to $55000. 

Guest Room Amenities

            Comforts include plush robes, goose down comforters and 300 thread count sheets, and programmable in- room climate controls. 

            Technology includes 32 inch flat screen television, high speed internet access, CD/DVD audio system, three telephones, and private safes designed for laptops.

Extra Amenities

            Extras include spacious balconies, mini bars, custom furniture, designer fashions and exquisite art work and photography.

Dinning

            Motif, the main dinning room, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  The menu is inspired by executive chef Azmin Ghahreman which is reminiscent of a European style café.  The restaurant provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere which over looks an 18 whole championship golf course and the Pacific Ocean.  Motif has a well known spectacular Sunday brunch.

            The Monarch Bay Club offers California surf and turf on its own private beach and is open for lunch and dinner.  Guests are driven to the beach front locale through the championship gulf course for a pleasurable dinning experience.

            Club 19 serves ala cart American cuisine overlooking the first tee.  Has stunning views of the gulf course and the ocean and provides patio and dinning room seating. 

The Pool Bar Grill offers light American fare.  Provides a beautiful views with the outdoor setting and the bar provides and excellent place to watch sporting events.

            Lobby Lounge provides a luxurious setting to sip your favorite cocktail or enjoy a fabulous appetizer with a breath taking ocean view.  Live Jazz is offered Thursday thru Sunday starting at 9 p.m..

Meetings and Banquets

            Superior meeting facilities and advanced technology are designed to exceed guest and group expectations.  The St. Regis offers more than 30000 square feet of facilities equipped with advanced audio/visual technology, teleconferencing, internet video conferencing, as well as the capability to download satellite and broadcast information.  Facilities include: Pacific Ballroom, Monarch Ballroom, seven meeting rooms, Botanical Garden, gazebos, spacious lawns and patios, and the unique Wine Caller.

Leisure

            Monarch Beach Golf Links which is and 18 whole junior golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.. 

            Three heated pools and two Jacuzzis provide year round fun in the sun.  The main pool offers private cabanas equipped with flat- screen televisions, DVD player, audio system, telephone, fax machine, high speed interned access, private safes and ceiling fans. 

            Guests can enjoy tennis on hard and clay courts and they have access to the resorts tennis professional.

            Monarch Beach is a 6.0 acre private beach with nature trails and an exclusive private beach club.  Guests have access to “Surf Butlers” who provide private surf lessons.
